Breaking News: Three arrested in Tenerife hotel shooting

Police have arrested three men after a shooting at a hotel in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, this evening.

It is understood that the shooting took place at the FERGUS Puerto de la Cruz hotel, located on Avenida Marítima.

According to witnesses, a group of men entered the hotel and opened fire on a number of guests, injuring two people. The victims, both male, are being treated in hospital for gunshot wounds.

The suspects fled the scene in a car, but were later arrested by police. They are being questioned by detectives at the local police station.

The motive for the shooting is not yet known. However, it is being treated as a suspected terrorist incident.
